Join Makers Lab staff (virtually) for the second of a three-part pop-up series covering the fundamentals of Fusion 360,
a professional 3D modeling and computer-aided design (CAD) software. We
will continue to explore the parametric model environment of the design
workspace and introduce additional tools for creating more advanced 3D
models.
After attending this pop-up you will be able to:
- Utilize Loft, Revolve, and Sweep tools to achieve more complex shapes and designs
- Import reference images and SVGs for use with Fusion 360 projects
- Export a model out of Fusion 360 for 3D printing in Cura and other slicing software
What you will need: Download the
Fusion 360
software before starting the recording, available for free for Mac
and PC. A three-button mouse is recommended, but not required.
Engineering drawings will be referenced throughout the recording.
