Note that the term "non-White scientists" was used during the introductory remarks, which is not inclusive terminology since it centers people who identify as White instead of specifying the other identities. A better description for the example that was given of individuals who are underrepresented on editorial boards is "scientists from lower income countries" or "scientists from historically-marginalized populations".
